From 1977 to 1994 he maintained a private law office in Cincinnati, Ohio, under Dumbacher and Burke, including Criminal cases and Real Estate cases.
From 1994 to 2007 he maintained a private office for Criminal cases and work for McNally Title Services, Inc.
Contract Attorney for Felony Cases 1978- 2007
He joined as Senior Felony Attorney at the beginning of the new Hamilton County Public Defender Felony Trial Staff in 2007 and is still in the same position. He is the Major Trial Attorney, receiving cases from the office and from all the Common Pleas Judges. Cases include many Death Penalty Trials. He is also certified as Death Penalty Appeals.
He fought the retroactive application of the Adam Walsh Act, argued over 600 cases in the Hamilton County Courts fighting the injustice of the use of the Act. He continues to fight for the improperly classifications that still arise
