Ms. Stamatakos is a 2015 graduate of the University of Georgetown University Law Center. She was admitted to practice in Ohio that same year.
She spent the summer of 2014 interning with the Hamilton County Public Defender’s Office in the Municipal Division. After taking the bar exam, she interned with the Appellate Division before officially joining the appellate staff. During her time in law school, Demetra interned with the Domestic Violence Court and Family Treatment Court of the DC Superior Courts. She also worked as a research assistance for the Georgetown Law Journal’s Annual Review of Criminal Procedure and spent time as a volunteer for Georgetown’s Prison Mail Project answering inmates requests for publicly available case law and statutes.
