Mr. Youngblood is a 1974 graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Law. He was admitted to practice in 1975.
He worked as a staff attorney for the Public Defender Division of the Legal Aid from 1975 through 1980. His initial position in that office was as an investigator.
From 1980 through 1981 he worked in the general practice unit of the Legal Aid Society of Cincinnati.
From 1981 through 1984 he was with the Law Firm of Burlew, Caliman, and Youngblood, LPA.
From 1981 through 1997 he was a supervisor and managing attorney for The UAW Legal Services Plan; a pre-paid legal services plan office for United Auto Worker members.
From 1999 through 2005 he worked as an Editorial Manager for Lexis-Nexis of Springboro, Ohio.
In 2007 he became a part of the Hamilton County Public Defender Office in the Guardian ad Litem Division.
In February 2013 he became a part of the Hamilton County Public Defender’s Municipal Division as a Team Leader.
