Ms. Reid is a graduate of The John Marshall Law School. She was admitted to practice in Ohio in 2013.
Prior to going to law school Ms. Reid worked at the Department of Human Services (now Jobs and Family Services) as a Family Services Worker and then as a Supervisor in the Ongoing Unit.
She was the School Social Worker for Sycamore Community Schools where she helped disenfranchised families become more engaged with the school district.
She interned with Robert K. Downs, in IL working on family law cases and with Roger B. Derstine working on cases that dealt with child welfare and child care.
Ms. Reid was employed by the Ohio Civil Rights Commission where she investigated discrimination in the areas of employment, housing, public accommodation (access to services and facilities open to the public), disability in higher education (beyond the high school/secondary level) and credit.
Ms. Reid was, most recently, the Principal for a Head Start early childhood learning center through the Cincinnati-Hamilton County Community Action Agency.
