Mrs. Clarke is a 2015 graduate of Northeastern University School of Law. She was admitted to practice in Ohio that same year and admitted to practice in Kentucky in 2016. She joined the Public Defender in 2016.
During law school she completed four internships. Mrs. Clarke clerked for the Honorable Elspeth Cypher in the Massachusetts Appeals Court, reviewed applications for the Ohio Innocence Project, and worked for two civil litigation firms practicing §1983 civil rights and employment law. She was a student attorney in the Prisoners’ Rights Clinic, where she presented a case before the Massachusetts Parole Board.
