Ms. Weber is a 1998 graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Law. During law school, Ms. Weber focused on social justice, and was the president of the student chapter of the Nebraska Civil Liberties Union.
Ms. Weber continued this focus after being admitted to the practice law. Ms. Weber first practiced law with the Missouri Public Defender Office. Ms. Weber worked as a public defender for about seven years in Kansas City, primarily representing indigent defendants on direct appeal and on post-conviction relief. After moving to Ohio, Ms. Weber practiced fair housing law at Miami Valley Fair Housing center, a nonprofit fair housing organization. For over six years, Ms. Weber defended homeowners against predatory lending and servicing practices. During this time, Ms. Weber was also a Sinclair Community College adjunct professor, in which she taught real estate law with a focus on fair housing law to paralegals. Ms. Weber joined the Hamilton County Public Defender Office, Juvenile Division at the end of October of 2015.
