Mr. Rolfes began his legal career as the constable and law clerk for Judge William S. Mathews and his successor, Judge Pat Dinkelacker. After his admission to the bar in 1995, he worked as a prosecutor for the City of Cincinnati until 1998. He then maintained his private practice until May 2012, when he accepted a position with the Hamilton County Public Defender’s Office.
Mr. Rolfes has successfully represented clients in jury trials, trials to the court, appeals and motion hearings.
In 2016, Mr. Rolfes became the Director of the Municipal Trial Division of the Law Office of the Hamilton County Public Defender.
