Ms. Stefanou is a 2015 graduate from the University of Cincinnati College Of Law. During her time at the University of Cincinnati, Ms. Stefanou worked as a fellow with the Ohio Innocence Project, investigating wrongful conviction claims and drafting motions on behalf of inmates for post-conviction relief.
Ms. Stefanou also practiced under a limited license through the Hamilton County Public Defender’s Office Indigent Defense Clinic, where she represented clients charged with misdemeanor crimes. Ms. Stefanou has represented clients on multiple charges including assault, aggravated menacing, theft, criminal damaging, OVI and probation violations.
Ms. Stefanou is a member of the Class of 2017 Gideon’s Promise Program, which is an organization that aims to provide public defenders with the skills necessary to become outstanding advocates for their clients.
